If one succeeds in everything
In life, he undertakes,
The thrill of doing anything
Is lost; life drab, he makes.
If failures come without an end,
Despair enters all men;
So in-between successes tend
To make the earth, heaven.
Indomitable is spirit;
Success will smile at times;
The risks one takes have their limit,
In inimical climes.
With hope in heart, if one can strive,
Success cannot elude;
With trust in God, His grace gives drive
For song and interlude.
