Sarah Strickert

Life, Death, Love, Hate

Life is a very mysterious thing,
Death is strange,
Love is dangerous,
Hate is nothing without it,

So many things we don’t know,
We lie and guess, waiting and hoping,
Something will guide us threw

Comes in many forms
Natural, suicide, murder

Is not a game,
Listen, be trusting, and loyal,

Is made by pain,
I hope someday you find it in your hearts to
forgive and forget

We fake our ways threw,
We know what we’ve done wrong,
We don’t care about each other,

Labels are what keep us inline,
Lies are what keep us out,

Lets make a change,
Be yourself,
Not someone else,

We cannot predict what the future holds,
We can only look at our pasts,
Make your past beautiful and not horrible,
So when you look back you will see all of your accomplishments,
Instead of your sorrows,

Believe in yourself,
Do what you want,
Don’t rot away,
