Life Equals Death Poem by Silent Death

Life Equals Death

Life equals death in more ways than one
You fight for faith but you have received none
I screamed out the name of the one I hold dear
You turn your head away as if you can't hear
These challenges are tough and I need to get out
We tried to run far but that had ended in doubt
Have your eyes been blinded by them in their lies
Don't tell me you loved me if it's not in your eyes
They tried to assure me that you never meant it
And I wanted to believe them but I threw a fit
The lies sounded so true and believe them was what i do
Now I look back and can see reasons why
Reasons that show me how hard I did try
Since I have gone where do you lay
And remember one thing, I have lived alone through just one more deadly day
