walked one day
and everything changed
like your eyes just started seeing
and everything was new
the grass smelled good
despite your allergies
and the sky was so blue
and life had a theme song
you knew all the words to
walked one day
and the rain falling wasn't bad
but refreshing, cool and new
and everything was ok
despite the fact that it wasn't
because you made the choice
there is always a choice
