Life Is Such A Pain A Times Poem by Eric Joseph Lopez

Life Is Such A Pain A Times

When everything seems to be going right
Again I shall stay up all through the night
Rising up then fall wounded face down
Head hit first to the ground
Life is what it seems
Living a nightmare no longer in my dreams

Shaken but not sickened
Broken and left unspoken
What a promising world
Playing with fire sure to get burn
No longer without faith
What is faith when you are alone in the race

Fighting my way though
Like the matrix all in columns and rows
No matter how hard I try
Still left wounded to cry
No shoulder to cry on
Still wish sometimes I wasn’t born

Blocked out the thoughts in my head
Or give in to be consume then left for dead
This isn’t the life I’ve wish for
Still here fighting for things that are true and pure
Precious gems stones is what it’s like
But I still wouldn’t give up not this life

That is a really good poem. Full of hope that sadly many forget. That there is no living after death. Weather time allows you to be happy or not, what little of it is has given you is all it is going to share. I enjoy many of your poems
