Life Lessons Poem by Benjamin Mercado

Life Lessons

Rating: 4.5

If you are to do, and not to ask
And if to ask when deeply necessary
Then you are sure to finish the task
A task that you alone sometimes have to carry

If you are to wait and See
That Patience is a virtue
But waiting doesn't always fill your plea
And you have to stand and come through

If you are to make hindrance an advantage
Though Most times Hard, but think deeply
and that hindrance shan't able to ruin or ravage
For violence is never always the key

If you are to turn your foes to your friends
Shall the blessings of kindness prevail
And Shall the heavenly gates be a place you'll transcend
And you might be able to spread a great tale

If you are to cleanse the fog that vague your mind
From doing a selfless deed
Then now begins more friendly binds
And also filling other's needs

If you are to recreate what you lost
Then you've proven your worth to deserve it
Since most things, comes with a rigorous cost
Though there are times when you should quit
For there are times when Its not worth your time
And let that lost teach you a lesson
For it knowing it isn't prime
Cause it might commit to treason

If you are to share the knowledge of this poem
And at least for might be of worth
But if they ignore just let them
Since sometimes Trying would hurt
