Life Link Poem by Aiden Florence

Life Link

Rating: 5.0

For instance,
I’m holding you in my arms,
As our souls collide,
Dying to be together again,
And you’re still believing,
That this is all fake, All lies,
Is there a point in this hopeless research?

Now we slowly search for a warm “Love” imbedded in our heart
Honesty holds this much comfort,
Yet we know nothing
Honesty holds this much grief,
And we know everything

How many connections have we gone through,
To burnout every last link,
To what we thought we knew?

Waking up alone in bitter midnight light,
I find myself calling out to you,
Waiting for you to come find me here,
And feel this embittered delight,
Together, so we can overlook everything

Disillusioned light is all we can anticipate,
For tomorrow and day after day,
As we blister everything we had,
All these links between us from beginning to end,
To lose our lives in the endless process…
