Life's Circle - Poem by C L Escamilla

The wheel of life turns
While Fate spins away
And we just hold on
To fight another day.

Maybe we are rising,
Clinging to a dream
Maybe we are at the peak
Or so it may seem.

Because from the top there's
Only one diection left,
And we start going down,
Even though we try our best.

Life just falls apart.
At the bottom there's no stopping
It's time to build again.
Until the final turn We're hoping...

That's what makes the wheel go.
Sometimes up, sometimes down.
No matter what we say or do,
To the circle, we are bound.
