As we walk along the beach
The sun begins to set
Where the ocean meets the sky
We walk and talk
Telling each other our deepest secrets
Our most intimate fantasies
Our worst fears
No topic left untouched
No dream left unmentioned
Our feelings for each other exposed
Like standing naked in a crowd
We tell each other all
Knowing neither one of us
Has ever been this close
To anyone before
Neither one of us
Has ever been this open before
Neither one of us
Has ever been this honest before
Neither one of us
Has ever opened our heart like this before
To allow someone else this far in
Neither one of us
Has ever wanted someone
The way we want each other now
