Life's Wisdom Poem by Paul Sebastian

Life's Wisdom

Failures became stepping stones;
Mistakes became learned lessons;
Life’s pain made you steely;
Tears shed, taught empathy;
Laughs made good medicine;
Moments, treasured occasions
Merry hearts won many friends;
Success attracted positive minds;
Strength, from facing life’s storms;
Trying experiences bore wisdom;
Diligent hands brought wealth;
Living clean bought health;
Understanding gave prudence;
Achievement built confidence;
Disgrace followed selfish pride;
The humble sought elders’ guide;
Success brought humility:
Humility dwells in Divinity.

'Life is never a bed of roses'.... It has become a cliche.... still it holds so much of truth... Life is an amalgam of joy and sorrow... Both give us opportunities to strengthen and better our lives! What is more important is our attitude... If our attitude is right, we can gather pearls of wisdom even from adversities... Fine tips to gain joy of living!
