Life's Wonder Poem by Joyce Hemsley

On this Indian Summer morning
the sky shines a delicate blue;
emerald green shrubs set the scene
for a day of sweet magic with you.

Many years we have been together
our photographs make quite a show,
oh yes, we have seen pretty dawnings
and our own special archives grow.

I gaze at each picture so fondly
and to the high heavens I pray
writing poetical words of gratitude
giving thanks for each beautiful day.
