Life Shines Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Life Shines

Life shines

I suffer from excessive peace
As he has given me in lot and not in pieces
I give each one their share
And feel contended here

I get up in morning
And reach happily to evening
Night I spend in rest
Morning is again present for speedy test

I request god not to make me so obsessive
With all the happiness to live
I thank him for my lovely old age
That I feel blessings on golden page

I am thankful for making later years
To be spend with no fear
I bear no agony and pain
As life still shines and remains
