Life teems with tasks,
but the dream is not to be idle,
not stressed,
just a dreamer in a pleasant world.
Life unfolds at a leisurely pace.
I do what I can, no more,
unbothered by the race
or the fear of falling behind.
Call me dilly-dally,
yet I care not.
Content in my rhythm,
in my pace,
I have no need for
a thousand projects.
The bitter truth:
we can't finish all
before we're gone.
No castles in the sky,
no grand gardens for my progeny,
no reservoirs built from others' streams.
Inspiration strikes when I create,
visions to share with my children.
I dream—yes,
but don't expect me
to harvest others' crops
or plan for a century.
Dreams achieved through
another's tears are not for me.
Like a king on his throne,
I dream of living
happy,
content,
forever.
