Life, Through A Window Pane Poem by Samuel Stuart Pennell

Life, Through A Window Pane

He stood there,
viewing life through his frosted window pane

The world passed him by

While ballerinas twirled in a music box on his desk
to the dainty and elegant music that chimed

And the snow fell down,
in the somber February
