Life's So Complicated Poem by Bryan Taplits

Life's So Complicated

Life goes on-so you must too-
The chase is on the way,
Don't leave that chase;
Or live in haste
And diddle every day.
We all know the hurdles in life-
After all, who knows all the apps on his phone-
But travel we must
(so in God we must trust)
To gratefully not die all alone.
Yes, the secret of life is our just rolling along
And figuring how not to roll out,
But then you "ahoy"
A subversive hidden doubt-
Which you can‘t avoid-
Viz.,
Hurtling on Life's highway you might meet:
A round-about!
