Lifes Test - Poem by Gordon Jerome

You should soar with eagles and coo with doves
Hold dear your memories of all your loves
Have your feathers ruffled every now and then
To remind yourself just how long its been

Raise hell like a sailor and then pray like a nun
Spend your life living and having some fun
Always look forward to the life left to live
And share with the world all you have to give

Stand true to your words no matter the cost
For when ones trust is gone its forever lost
Be there when needed for all those you know
And turn strangers to friends wherever you go

Be kind and gentle and treat everyone fair
Show those feeling lost how much you truly care
Survive all life’s worst and enjoy all its best
And when alls said and done you’ll have aced life’s test.
“closing thought”
Challenge yourself everyday to help someone in need
Help caring grow by sowing its seed
