Light Poem by Sai Saketh Ram

Light

Savoring solitude of being solo,
Life becomes a plane membrane of thy ocean.
Out of that abyss, rises thee flower,
Blooming a light that en-kindles devotion.
And so it lights, uncountable twilights,
As they appear like the twinkling stars at night,
Devouring the delusional darkness,
They set ablaze a heart towards the right.
Knowledge lights a mind that knows no cause,
Giving shape to a world without fear.
Kindness lights a heart that knows only thy self
It sparkles the cheer to wipe off a tear.
Friendship glitters its magic over a disheartened soul,
For love has come to leave thy hand.
Yet, love is the only flare that flames love,
Perfectly webbing together a loosened strand.
Leadership illuminates a chosen path,
To a mortal that wanders, for he’s lost his way.
And God alone enlightens the ones, who believe,
In the bliss of being together, achieved this way.
The world rises from the depths of despair,
Holding the torch of countless emotions.
Shining like the vivid colors of a rainbow,
Bringing together a set of valuable notions.
And that flame shall stand for justice,
Holding in it bonds and beliefs, the true will of fire.
And if looked for hard enough,
You shall find it in you, the burning dream, a selfless desire…
