Light And Dark Poem by Michael Foster

Light And Dark

When you think of darkness, and when you think of light
Do you think of goodness, do you think of fear

Is the light really what it seams
Yet away from the dark, all creatures veer

Them both to be in harmony
Yet farther away, they couldn't be

The sun is bright and loving
And yet it roasts our skin

The moon is a sign of killing
Yet bright its ever been

Not all is what it seems to pays
And all is in its place

When you see the sun's bright rays
And feel the moonbeams on your face

Hmmm..interesting. Isn't it funny how people do automatically associate dark with bad and light with good. Poem invokes many thoughts. Nicely done!
