Light Up The Night - Poem by Corrina Kavea
A long time
The thunder rolls
And lightning strikes
My eyes
Makes me blind
From works of ill
Tumultuous colored
Skies
Pull back the clouds
That hide my pain
And let me live
Again
A rising sun
A brand new day
And lovers drenched in
Rain
Soak my soul
In tears of joy
For hurt, I have
Run dry
And let the moon
And stars collide
To lighten up the
Night
Yes- let the moon
And stars collide
To lighten up the
Night.
