Lightning Strikes Poem by Satish Verma

Lightning Strikes

Let me go alone to
meet the blameless, carrying a
pride flag remaining untouched.

True sequestered
under the shade of a fig tree, to die
or not to die. The crushed moon lies by side.

An abject recovery of
youthfulness, unshakable crotch.
ready to jump in a turbulent river.
