Like Gold Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Like Gold

Like gold

You are master
And you are the slave
You are the beggar
And you are richer

Think of no world
And hold
Entire things in your fold
You shall become bold

If you find heaven in your feet
And still not accept
You are the happiest man
Well behaved and kind human

Why you need personal plane?
When it is available in open
Spend little less and make trip
You shall be able to sleep peacefully

You need guards to protect
Vigil in and out whenever you act
You shall not be able to mix with people in openness
This shall be matter for curse

Part with little to charity
Look after poor and needy
Your fortune may double or increase ten fold
Your name shall become famous like gold
