Like Minds Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Like Minds

The venue is the small gate
Choba Part, Uniport

A mad woman
Well known in the vicinity
And a mad mad
New, and relatively unknown

She has her bundles
Of rubbish on the head
And other varied weird possessions
Dangling from different angles of her body

He too is not lacking in odd effects
Of what sane minds detests

They sauntered towards the east-west road
Across to Delta Park
Taking to each other
Same time
And laughing
Same time too
Contended
In harmonious companionship
