Like Puppets...
Oh how I wish
We had the ability
To float up when we liked
Up above the world
And disappear from sight
Of all the people we know
Just the two of us
Two mischievous truants
Playing hide and seek with the world
Like puppets
We would descend when needed
To play our roles on stage
We'd fulfil our responsibilities
Then go back and live our lives
Behind the scenes
At least we would be happy
Just being by ourselves
The rest of the time
