Like the Iris
Share your inner soul
Don’t question any motives
Trust in one another
Let out what runs deep
For it is known regardless
It is sensed
Within each breathe
So never hold it in
It makes a difference
Everything isn’t meant to be
Broken.
I now know this
And in knowing I have gained a
Friend.
I pray that they’ll open up to me
Like the Iris.

There are things that have passed
Things that are to come
And things that do last
Hold tight to those, life is so fast.
All has an end,
As all know.
Just as the wind picks up and goes.
Just as the sun assures us of each morning,
We are not eternal here on earth.
Like the Iris.

There is something eternal though,
Do you know?
Open up to me
Like the Iris.
And I will tell you all the love He offers.
He will forgive you.

Forgiveness is eternal.
Life is eternal on His path.
So take this message w/ you-

Save your beauty.
Save your innocence.
Save your love.
Save your soul.
Like the Iris.
