Limbo's Child



My girlfriend has a girlfriend
as pigeons flee the roost
Pronouns crying God knows what
knots are coming loose

I was my girlfriend's boyfriend
when lines unblurred defined
My love abeyant, Limbo's child
—left here misaligned
