Limerick 012 - Poem by John Carter Brown

There once was a man on a diet,
Who was hoping to keep it all quiet,
But it came to the crunch
When he guzzled his lunch:
In his stomach there broke out a riot.

I went on a diet on Tuesday
    and lasted until about Friday
    I failed by a chip
    that was salty and crisp
and choc ice to lick on, this Sunday
