Limerick 016 Poem by John Carter Brown

Limerick 016

There once was a stock-man named Gaz
Who constantly got on your waz;
He chirped every day
In a bird kind of way
Like the prisoner from old Alcatraz.

(Written March 2004)

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This Limerick is about a young lad who I used to work with in a warehouse, where everyone had their own particular way of staving off the boredom of the job. Gareth (Gaz) used to whistle bird impressions.
Also - for those who don't understand, 'waz'= nerves.
