Line Poem by Invalid Files

Line

Between the serenity of
Curtains and flowers,
Lines in the pages,
And sleek window panes

Here you are,
Holding abstractedly onto a line,
A line of given logic,
The unquestioned laws,
Leading out
Into the world of what is Norm

A ray of sunlight,
Highlighting the thin layer of
Unsettled dust,
Making it seem as if it's
Encroaching between time and knowledge,
What a taunt,
What a joke,

A jerk of the string,
A wonderful interruption
Of second thoughts and doubts,

Here she is,
Tugging almost childishly
In a tacit way,
To wake you up
From your self-enmity,

Between the turmoil of
Speeding cars,
Collapsing buildings,
And inane artificial enigma,

Here we are,
Letting loose,
Then grabbing desperately,
Of a line that doesn't
Even exist
