Lingering Memories Poem by Jocelyn Ciputra

Lingering Memories

I hate that it hurts when our memories suddenly popped up in my head
I hate that i have to look away whenever you're near
I hate that every corner was our spot
I hate that you were that one person i could talk to for hours now i cant even look u in the eye
I hate that we used to do almost everything together, we used to hold hands, and now we're a total stranger
I hate that we cared so much for eachother and now we dont even talk anymore
Not because ive stopped loving you, but you've stopped loving me

Sincerely, the girl who's forced to unlove

A good depiction of whimsical and temperamental nature of love, well articulated and nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction.

~~~It is always a painful experience. Writing is good therapy. Thanks, Jocelyn
