Listen To The Tambourine - Poem by Juan Olivarez

Listen to the tambourine,
Making music in the night.
And the song it nightly sings,
Till the early morning light.

Singing sweetly, keeping time,
Never tiring always bright.
Age makes it better just like wine,
Soaring ever to new heights.

Listen to the tambourine,
Singing crisply in the night.
With that sound so pure and clean,
Till the early morning light.
