Listen Unto Me O Lord Poem by Jasbir Singh

Listen Unto Me O Lord

How can we leave and forsake thee, O Lord!
When thou hath removed our sins record,

All the good, heathen see in us today;
Hath been possible through thy grace,
All the good that we possessed yesterday;
Hath been our self- righteousness' trash.

Dear Lord, do thee knoweth about heathen!
They art also thee creations too,
My Lord, have mercy upon them lengthen,
They'll acknowledge thee soon.

Dear Lord, please have mercy on our foes,
'cause they knoweth not the gospel,
My Lord, soften their hard hearts too!
To be a part of a choir in heaven's chapel.

Dear Lord, listen my prayer for my brethren,
Who art walking in the narrow way,
Give them thy grace to be patient,
Until thou come back, this is to thee, I pray.

Tell me ye, who can ever stop us from the unconditional love of God?
No power in heaven or in the world, this is the promise of our dear Lord!
