With my eyelids pressed
Against the world
I will look into the blackness
Placing myself there
I will look into the blackness
And invite it inwards
Feeling it fill me and letting it
Letting it fill me and feeling it
I will find the absolute edges
Of its purest darkness
And over its rim find sleep there
Away from all dreams
And so to oblivion then and
Its unknowing beyond
Whether ephemeral or be it
Eternal - l am ready
