Little Angel - Poem by Aswathi Asok

While she was walking along the street
There was a crowd beside the road
It looks like a flock of sheep
She was so curious to know about it,
Just walked near to the group
But nothing was visible on account of people
Heard only a murmur from inside the circle
Yes, there was somebody who was old
Just she asked to the man, who stood at back
Gave a funny smile and giggle at her
She was ashamed by his careless reply,
Tried to walk inside the round
Shocked when she saw the stranger
Who was lying down the muddy floor?
Look alike a beggar man.
All were hesitated to give him hand
All at once she took him up,
Wrapped him by her covering towel.
No one knows who is she?
But, the old man called her "little angel''.

'Tis a good composition with a story of humanity....
Humanity dies nowadays but all must be gathering in front of Him on that day of Judgement where we will be counted for the deeds we have done here....
Thanks for sharing this simple /elegant poem...
It made me to think for a while...
    Top marks! ! !
