Little Girl Run Poem by tess fielders

Little Girl Run

LITTLE GIRL RUN!

Little girl wandering, petals detached
Floating, dreaming, castle and moat

Imagining, seeking, places beyond
Longing, hoping, for the right boat
....

Noticed, targeted, by the wrong kind
Skillfully followed, expertly groomed

Realize the danger, run while you can
Otherwise sweetpea, your body’s doomed

Hi Tess - I am honoured to be the first to comment on this sad poem. This is a warning to all little girls. Verses 1 & 2 paint a lovely picture of a carefree young girl with all the hopes and apirations of youth. V 3 Pants a warning - beware littlr girl there are nasty people lying in wait and ready to pounce. V 4 High emotion in the final line 'Otherwise sweetpea - your bodies doomed'. Do men realise the lifelong damage they condemn little girls to - when they are seduced prematurely. They never get over it and can themselves become hard and cruel towards young people (under 16) . Perhaps they should undergo a penectomy which would cure them once and for all time.. Love in Poetry - JOHN
