Little House Poem by Marilyn Lott

Little House

I saw this little house
Raymond was the town
I looked upon the ruin
There was nobody around.

I thought about the folks
Who lived there long ago
Bustling at one time
But now so very slow.

There were fields of green
Once up on a time
I could hear the animals
Several kinds I would find.

But now the little house
Was so lonely I could cry
Is it possible to save it?
I really would like to try!
