Little Rock Fun Poem by Marilyn Lott

We learned so much about Little Rock
When we spent some time there
The capitol building was beautiful
We just loved the amazing architecture

They finished building it in 1915
Without our modern technology
It sure is hard to imagine
It’s such an amazing feat to me

A picture of former president Clinton
When he was a young governor
He didn’t know at that time, of course
He’d live inside the white house door

And of course there was the seal
Representing the state of Arkansas
We looked high up on the wall
It was truly a great thing to us

We had a wonderful trip that day
Out in the Arkansas sun
Visiting their beautiful capitol building
And having some Little Rock fun!
