Live with untruth

What are we trying to prove?
And alter on disprove
By putting hand on holy religious book
And take oath of telling truth!

Is this the real faith?
That we swear to carry till death
Are we saying this by sticking to words?
And praying in holy places before lords

To whom are we cheating?
And creating
mental disturbance
For becoming tense

Have we gone mad?
And still refuse this trade
We speak with total disregard
Keep narrow interest in mind with treacherous words

What is meaning of taking oath?
The judges know it still stick to deceitful path
Announce to involvement
And leave the culprits

So not the system alone
But entire human chain
With shield of ignorance
Claim protection and grant of another chance
