in filmy sunlight through the gates
a mother was, a mother's echo
the universe expands

testing, forcing, orating
through the gates in the Japanese character
for passively utilized surface, negative space
the conditional emptiness
is not emptied; that something, through
the hazy sunlight spells Ma
