Living in pain is no better than mere living
Reasons for worship are many
So are the reasons for our faith.
In between worship and faith
Lies the destiny of humanity.
Some are out calling for gains
Many are there just to thank
A few may ask for forbearance
Fewer are those who don’t want any.
When does death come to claim?
What is out there in store for me?
Where am I going to find my peace?
Who is there to lean on when I fall?
Help me identify what is right
So do me God, to keep me alive.
It’s all for YOU and because of YOU
I don’t want to be leaving and believing.
In these fleeting days, pitted between
Our worship and faith, lies hidden
A religion called pain, the physical one.
One needs to feel it to know its canons.
Reasons for worship are many
So are the reasons for our prayers.
If God is to be blessing us with some
Let that be some days free from pains.
Our prayers, faith and worship proclaim:
“It is not for nothing we all believe,
but not to be living in any form of pain.
For, living in pain is no better than mere living.
