Living Our Lives
There are days
I wish I could
Because I know
I just would
Hide my head
From the day
I'd have nothing
I would have to say
I'd stay in my room
With the curtains closed
Do nothing at all
I suppose
We all have days
That are like this
The happy times
Are what we miss
But I guess
That's how it is
In any life
Lived like this
Hope remains
A viable thing
In a life where
We can't all win
