Living Simple Poem by Ray Hansell

Living Simple

A walk along the beach
Having lunch on the pier
The sun beating upon us
But, we get refreshed by a beer

An after dinner stroll
Along a now crowded pier
Nothing else reallymatters
As long as you are here

We stop to watch the sun set
As it disappears from the sky
Leaving us both to wonder
Where does it go to hide?

The day is coming to a close
Stars fill the mid-night blue
It makes me very happy
That I get to share it all with you
