London Streets - Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Went to
Albert Hall
To watch
A concert.

The warmth of the
Waned away,
Walking in the
Cold and biting
London streets.

The grandeur of the
Faded away
Seeing the
Poor and homeless
Squatting in those
Dreadfully cold,
Raining and pouring
Sub-zero freezing…
London streets.

(Poetry themed on Disparity)

If someone allows his or herself to watch a concert altogether a shivering kid in chilling
temprature, means poetess is not only penning but also living a POETRY.Congrats! ! !
