Loneliness
what's loneliness?
lonelyness is what you feel when your
love is gone, when your heart turns to stone
when you think of things to get you numb,
when you cry but no tears come, when your
pain is hidden by a smile, when you
wish everyone will stop treating you like a
child, when you wish you will find someone
who will help you throughout sorrow and
not let you walk within their shadow

That's a pretty apt description. I would only change 'allow' to 'force' (or something more forceful, anyway) . 'when you cry but no tears come, ' there's not much more lonely than when even tears have deserted you. This line could perhaps sum the whole thing up? Thanks for sharing.
