Loneliness Poem by Renee Tidmore

Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

Loneliness is the hardest part of life.
Sometimes when things are hectic,
the solitude can be your saving grace.
But, when one really needs a friend,
And the days are filled with strife,
That's when you pray for a partner for life.

Sure, friends are there for you
When times are good, fun, and fantastic.
Bu, what about those times in life
When a shoulder and, maybe, a helping hand are needed?
Those are the times when the loneliness is the hardest part.

This is so true, Renee. Loneliness can be so very painful when we don't have someone to share our lives with in a personal way. I also have a poem called Loneliness that I wrote some years ago when I felt just as you do today. I hope you find someone to share your life with. Warm Wishes, Marilyn
