In the corner I hide.
Laughing and smiling at just the right times.
So lonely inside, so busy out there.
Confused as to why I feel this way.
Cold and numb with no escape.
I yearn to break free from underneath this black cloud.
Even when I’m in a crowd of people,
I’m alone on an island.
Does anyone else feel this way?
Why doesn’t anyone want to save me?
All alone with nowhere to turn,
Aching with this heavy empty feeling I walk away
