Lonely As Hell - Poem by Coco Nitty AKA Peter Cloutier
Feeling lonely as hell.
Wish I could fill the void.
Thinking back when Life was swell.
Now it's like I'm tring to avoid,
The thoughts of the past,
When good was always good.
Shit I'd be having a blast,
With the girl in the hood.
Like she brought out my youth,
And I was already young.
With her I knew it was love,
That's just the way it swung.
Although she wasn't my first,
I wish I'd made her my last.
Cuz now I'm lonely as hell.
Just looking back at the past.
Poet's Notes about The Poem
I've been single for over 3 years, and I'm looking back at all my ex's and realising that if I could re-live life, I'd probably make some of them last longer.
It's not that easy getting that anymore.
Sorry if I spread my lonely mood onto someone else.
My next songs will lift people up, I'm working on something good, inspirational.
