The Fog Poem by Coco Nitty AKA Peter Cloutier

The Fog

I can hardly remember,
When I remembered at all,
Right now it's December,
A year ago it was fall.

Everywhere I go,
I make a friend everyday,
I don't really know,
What they want me to say.

I excersise a lot,
But it's harder to think,
For a second I thought,
And then my brain would shrink.

Now I'm wondering why,
I think like I do,
It's like as hard as I try,
I can't remember like you.

Then it hits me again,
The reason I'm here,
It's hard to pretend,
That I don't have any fear.

I can finally remember,
The car coming at me,
It was last september,
And once again it's the past, see,

I can hardly remember,
When I remembered at all,
Right now it's December,
A year ago it was fall.
