Lonely At The Top Of The Mountain Poem by Dorsey Baker

Lonely At The Top Of The Mountain

It's so lonely
At the top of the mountain
The voice of nobody but yourself
Can you hear
Whether distant or near
Echoing the deep
Quiet night

It's so lonely
At the mountain top
You stand alone
It's just you and
That mountain
It's freezing
A cold wind comes blowing
Just after
Another one has
Already blown

It's so unfriendly
That place
Way up high
Lonely
At the top of the mountain
