Lonely Nights Come Too Soon Poem by Edwina Reizer

Lonely Nights Come Too Soon

There's always something bothering me.
Why are you somewhere I can't see?
That something's here again today.
Feel as empty as can be.

Where you are is too far from me.
I know you're somewhere I can't see.
And my eyes are never clear.
And night time's almost here.

*** Lonely nights come too soon.
I'm staring at the man in the moon.
And there's still that something bothering me.
Why are you somewhere I can't see?

I've walked into a timeless place.
Cannot even see you face
And what I see is never clear.
And night time's almost here.

REPEAT *** twice
