Loner In The Crowd Poem by Thistle Wargul

Loner In The Crowd

Step after step, along the empty road.
Breath after breath, in the silent room.
Closed conversations all around,
Resentful looks without a sound.

Note after note, in the music book.
Sung like a thrush, that's speckled brown.
Only the jealous close off their lives,
To people that do not tell lies.

You're afraid because I'm stronger than you,
You're afraid of what I can do!
I'm different and proud of it,
A heppy reject, in the crowd!

Watching, just waiting.
Waiting for an answer.
Why do you hate me so?
